For me a fondness of being self-propelled in wild places and

passion to document them blended harmoniously over

30 years ago and continues to this day. These pages consist

of images photographed with Hasselblad medium-format

film and Nikon DSLR digital cameras and represent as closely

as possible precisely what revealed itself to my eyes. The only

post-processing I perform is that which will depict the scene

as a literal presentation…Mother Nature needs no makeover.

In excess of 4,000 miles has passed beneath my boot soles

and hopefully the odometer will continue to spin for a long

time to come as I find new, beautiful places to explore,

carve into stone and commit to memory. If you have any
